Job Function:  Operations - Production

PROCESS OPERATOR – BEAUMONT NEW AMMONIA

We are seeking motivated Process Operators to support the daily operation and reliability of our ammonia production facility. Operators will rotate through both field assignments and Central Control Room (CCR) responsibilities. Be a part of a facility that’s not just producing ammonia but helping shape the future of energy. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 Actively support and participate in the site's Basic Safety Process and overall safety performance. 
 Operate plant systems to meet on-stream performance, production, and reliability goals.
 Troubleshoot operational issues and assist in root cause failure analyses. Execute daily tasks with precision and an emphasis on continuous improvement.
 Support planning and execution of both minor and major shutdowns.
 Adhere to and execute all operating procedures with a strong focus on safety and quality.
 Respond effectively to emergencies and abnormal operating conditions.
 Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork in a dynamic operational environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations
 None
Education, Experience, and/or Training
 High school diploma or GED required
 Preferred: Associate degree or certification in Process Technology or a related technical field
 Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, or refinery environment 
 Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
o Familiarity with pumps, compressors, exchangers, valves, and rotating equipment is a plus 
 Proven commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
 Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Preferred Backgrounds
Candidates with the following backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply:
 U.S. Military experience
 Refining or petrochemical industry experience
 Certificate or degree in PTEC or related process/technical fields 
 Technical school graduates with backgrounds in:
o Industrial Systems
o Instrumentation Technology
o Process Technology
o Electrical or Mechanical Technology 
o HVAC
o Mechatronics

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
 Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)

PHYSICAL
 Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly required.
 Ability to climb ladders and walk up the stairs regularly required. 
 Ability to get to “field” in a timely manner.
 Ability to sit or stand for prolonged amounts of time required.
 Ability to work in elevated areas and confined spaces.

ENVIRONMENTAL
 Work is performed within an industrial environment, with heavy machinery.
 Work is performed in the “field”, requiring personal protective equipment (PPE). 
 Noise levels are typically loud.

TRAVEL

Work Schedule & Benefits
 Shift & Schedule: Initially straight days with double shifts (7/12s); transitioning to a DuPont rotating shift schedule.
 Must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts (DuPont schedule) including nights, weekends, and holidays.
 Must be able to respond to after-hour callouts and emergencies on a rotational basis.
 Participation in the site’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) is required.
