Within OCI Nitrogen we have a vacancy for Assistant Controller Manufacturing.

We are looking for an Assistant Manufacturing Controller to support our three Manufacturing Controllers in collecting, processing and analyzing financial data. A varied position in which your eye for detail, proactive attitude and numerical insight come into their own.

 

What will you do as an Assistant Controller Manufacturing?

As an Assistant Controller Manufacturing, you play an important role in the financial heart of our production organization. You are responsible for collecting, processing and structuring financial data and implementing improvements. You will be responsible for the careful preparation and delivery of various reports in the field of capital investments, fixed costs, maintenance and variable costs. You are responsible for various checks, the clear and concise provision of relevant reports and assist the Manufacturing Controllers in analyzing and interpreting this data. 

 

Your work will include:

  • You play an important role in the month-end closing by collecting, processing and analysing fixed costs, variable costs and capital investments.
  • Preparing periodic reports and forecast files. You do this by collecting data from different sources (such as SAP, PowerBI and Excel) and translating it into clear reports for management, in which the actual performance is compared to the budget.
  • Checking and optimizing administrative processes and templates. You review existing templates, with the aim of making them more efficient, user-friendly and error-resistant.
  • Active contribution during budget cycle and monthly updates. You will help the Manufacturing Controllers draw up the annual budget, make analyses and presentations to management.
  • Various checks to control costs in the right way.
  • Close cooperation with the Manufacturing Controllers and other colleagues within the manufacturing organization.

 

Who are you?

You work meticulously, like structure, are communicative and have a good sense of numbers. You switch easily between different tasks, are proactive and hands-on, like to get on with it to achieve results and actively contribute to improving existing working methods.

 

Your profile:

  • Completed HBO education in financial direction
  • At least 3 years of experience with financial administration
  • Good knowledge of Excel, experience with SAP is a plus
  • Accurate, reliable and a team player
